Hi, I'm Debbie Carlini and this is the page where you can find out a little about me the author of this page. I am 18 years old and I attend Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. I will be pursuing a major in Computer Science and minors in Math and Spanish. I graduated with High Honors and I was ranked 20th in my senior class at Notre Dame Catholic High School in Fairfield, Connecticut.
I was born with a rare eye disease called Achromotopsia. It took doctors 16 years to correctly diagnos my problem. Until this day, nothing can be done to correct my vision problem. I know very little about it and if there is someone out there who has the same disease. Please e-mail me. I am legally blind and have much difficulty seeing outdoors, however; I do not let my vision problem affect my everyday life.
Both my parents are Italian and they came to America in their late twenties. In 1976, my father and uncle opened Vinny's Pizza and Restaurant in Bridgeport, Conneticut. Later, they opened Sals's Pizza and Restaurant in Montoe, Connecticut. Until this day, both restaurants are in business and doing very well. My Brother is 23 years old and graduated from Sacred Heart University in 1999 with a bachelor of Arts. Most likely, he will be continueing the family business.
